JRD 24 is an industrial grade two-part fibered epoxy that through extensive testing
has proven to be one of the strongest epoxies on the market today. It is also offered in a liquid form that has pour-ability
for special applications. It can withstand temperatures up to 225 degrees F and will withstand Machining Operations
such as milling, drilling, tapping, sawing, and grinding. It is used for repairs on non-weldable or hard to weld metals
such as cast iron, aluminum, brass, and copper, plus most plastics including pvc pipe. JRD 24 has excellent resistance
to oils, fuels, coolants, and chemicals.
Typical applications include:
Motorcycle, ATV, and auto industry-repairs cracked and damaged engine cases, motor blocks, clutch covers, rocker boxes, radiators,
gas tanks, oil pans, valve covers, plastic bodies and fenders, differentials, cylinders, brake master cylinders, and much
more.
JRD24 requires a 24 hour cure time at room temperature, but can be quick cured using
a heat lamp in 3 to 5 hours.
